Rotax Basic Service Tools
Bearing Pullers
If you decide that you need to replace the bearings on the crankshafts,
there are tools and techniques that will make the job much easier. The
bearings can be returned to the crankshaft by heating the bearings in oil
(medium on a hot plate). With the crankshaft in a vertical position slide
the hot bearing into place and bottom out against the distance gauge
and crankshaft. Same for other bearing. Please call for addtional information.

Flywheel Puller Kits
It is not necessary to pull the flywheel if you are only checking or adjusting the points. However, if replacement of the points or condensers is necessary, the flywheel must be pulled. These Rotax tools make the job easy and prevent damage to the engine.

Rotax Timing Tool Set
LEAF recommends the following set of tools to anyone wanting to check and reset their timing. With this kit, you are able to pull the flywheel in order to replace the points or condensers, if necessary. We have also recommended the Buzz Box over the timing light, because it is easier to use and more versatile. It can be used not only to check the timing, but also the condensers and coils.
